MTV has announced that it will stream the new music video series “The Proformers” on Spotify.
The series will be available to Spotify users as a free stream, and is the first time that a music video has been made available as a full-length audio-visual experience.
The show is the second of four episodes from the series, which follows the exploits of an “American Idol”-style competition between a group of “The Pros” (aka “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”) and “The Players”, a “Housewives”-style game show in which players compete to win $1 million dollars.
“The Proforms” follow a group that are trying to break into Hollywood, and will be released in a week’s time on Spotify on May 30.
“The Performance Players” will follow a different group of players, and are scheduled to be released next year.
The “The Power of Love” album, which features some of the most well-known names in music, is available for free download from Spotify as of today.
It will be followed by a new single, “We’re Still Alive,” which features Pharrell Williams and Pharrell himself.
